In my life
there have been rough spots,
times when I was real hot,
lots of other times
when I should have died.
I’ve mourned the loss of lovers,
the deaths of some others,
took it all standing without any noise
and almost never shed a tear from my eye,
still one thing cuts my crazy,
always makes my visions hazy
and almost always makes me cry,
it may be an age thing,
like hearing the birds sing
it’s the silk shot of giving toys.

I know what you mean, icebox.  I hate to shop!  The stampede at the door is almost too much for me to comprehend.

Yes, I guess I'm with you on this one as well.  Oh, and it's more than an age thing!

do you dress up when you do it?

I agree...especially if they are just little tykes.
