Far from where I am going

Looking down on you
from my cloudy perch
waking, meeting the morn
rolling to where
i slept before
crying
those tears
of mourning

all i can do
is miss you
watching over
your life
from above
my love
i'm still
here

My slate
stone rememberance
you watch
for hours
each day
that presence
is my embrace
of longing

all i can do
is miss you
watchin over
your life
from above
my love
i'm still
here

I wished
that night
for me to
be taken
in your place.
my wish
granted
and all
i can do
is miss you
watching over
your life
from above
my love
just be happy
and forget me
for now
until your
fate is called
then my
unlife longing
will be
resolved

(it was a quick write and is supposed to be a song. let me know what could be fixed and all that jazz. Hope you enjoy)

Thank you for the kind comment. I could attempt to sing but i may just shatter ear drums and near by glass. dogs will also howl in disapproval. (what i'm trying to type is that singing is not my strong point)
