Where no tyranny is tolerable

Dream about Midnitesun
Midnitesun is here to visit.
I tell her has she heard the joke
about politicians and the flu vaccene,
that they have priority to get it,
because of all the handshaking they have to do,
and slapping backs
and kissing babies.
Maybe we should protect
the politicians from the babies?
My kitchen is so dirty, so filfthy,
that a spontanious chimical reaction starts.
A fine, white powder
is falling from the ceiling.
She tells me:
go to the hospital at once.
because It might be chimical poisoning.
She doesn't want me to die
from chimical poisoning,
so go to the hospital just in case.
I go to the hospital,
but instead of washing off the toxic substance,
they just scrape a little for analysis.
It consists of nasty little organisms,
living in what might be sand or dust.
Midnitesun morphs into a scientest
who makes strange chimicals.
She comes to me
and says something like:
Eg est der Midnitesun.
But now she has to leave.
I ask her if she is flying home.
She says no,
because it would attract too much attention.
She will have to go to the airport
like an ordinary person.
She says she has forty dollars.
I tell her that won't be enough,
that she will need at least sixty now
for the taxi fare out there.
So she changes her mind and flies away.
What's that!
It's a bird ...
It's ... It's ... ...

She is pretty special, and I think she likes you alot too.  But what do I know....I'm just a poet.  I hope all is well with you...who knows...that might have been angel dust.

Interesting piece Jaime

Costs almost as much to get to the airport as it does to fly.

I enjoyed the muse through your experience.

Jaime, maybe it's time to call in the annual cleaning and maintenance crew? (laughing here)
With the price of gas, it costs as much to drive as to fly, maybe even more for long distances in my old jalopy. Now, if all I had to do was jump in the sky, you know, Superwoman style? LOL, you'd have to ground all the regular planes cuz my GPS navigational system doesn't work in this fog. It's really thick here in the Willamette valley, feels like a big wet heavy blanket, and it sits about two to three feet off the ground. And it's as thick as the ice fog was in Fairbanks.
Do you remember Carl Sandburg's poem, 'the fog comes on little cat's feet?' Well, this fog rolls in on BIG cat's feet. LOL.
So, how was your Thanksgiving, mi amigo?
