Far from where I am going

Peaceful Daydream

Serene simplistic
daydreams transmitted
into the atmosphere
from the confines
of a shady oak.
sunset half down
on the horizon
fires of violet
and faded red
blaze across
a heavenly canvas.
blades of grass
dance in
supernatural
motions to
the music
of a lake tide.
frogs jump from
logs into an
undertow of calm.
Night arrives
and peace radiates
from the Earth.
