Here, there, maybe when …
and so the story goes
an unchained human brain
telling fairy tales to old
reclining in the luxury
of simple fantasy.

The sun goes down,
the moon comes up,
the moon goes down,
the sun comes up,
and the story’s still the same,
fantasy is here to stay
nestled in compartments
of each and every brain.

Together in the sunset,
in concert with the moon,
and beneath a seemingly
nonchalant outlook
the devil of my fantasy
sucks dry the air I breathe.

So I gasp out in surprise;
could it be this is a sign
the fantasy is growing
beyond limits of the mind?

Here, there, maybe when …
and so the story goes
the brain absorbing more each day,
at night it simply plays
nestled in the fantasy
of you and I entwined.

Devil worship of a kind;
it’s not easy being a woman
held prisoner by the brain
in the jail of fantasy!

I didn't know it related to the sex.

I thought we all did it.

Good strong words.

I could sing this as my theme song.
