AND THEN THE SOUND...

Can you imagine
what the sound was like
could it have been akin to
Mach  3 or 4,
when He uttered,
“Light Be!”

and now
as you await
His hand upon you
upon your future
upon whom you are to be
do you wait
with grand expectation
do you abide
with wondrous anticipation
does your heart whisper
hope, beyond compare,
as you wait
there

upon the Rock
of His promise? When He says,
"Child, be;"
can you imagine
how your
“Big Bang”
will sound and feel?

Might you reel
with profound joy
when you employ
the blessings, the skills,
the talents
with which He
empowers.

Some wait
as Isaiah 40:31,
some as in Isaiah 54,
and some
as in Mark 15:34.

What more
will come
do you believe;
can you conceive
the fruition of your
petition-or do you even
ask?

The above was inspired by a "Thrive" Simulcast conference.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Thank you, Virginia...
food for thought around the holidays...
and it doesn't have any calories.

Blessings on you, and yours.
