My love appears, just like me
Although, of pious belief
One thread of a tapestry
An illusion being woven
By God’s treasures
Bathing in precious light
Masculine and feminine
An intentional contribution
By light of Destiny
To feelings, clues to answers
Licking a lighted street
Appearing unclothed, breathing water
More outrageous is multiple beginnings
Ones with reflexivity

Polar autonomy, alike in every way?
I’m following to deliberate off the mark
Where wide currency legends
Running with no risk to spoil it
Playing me, speaking more loudly
Like air I can’t breathe without
Deeply immersed
Within a vast store of authors
Of old friendship and parables
With aftertastes plausible
Forbidden and alluring
He gave me
Deja Vu ladies wear
Colonial Breakfast in Bed
With hawk vertigo
Hugs once lodged rare
In 18th Century Capital

Leaving me open to the elements
Gentle vows
That meant no harm
And death by fire remembers
That glorious man in the street
It is the story, in the first person
I’d ever put my hands on
Walking across extraordinarily deep
Windows, off the middle of day
We certainly were heavy brass door knobs
Knockers of Independence, weren’t we?
Touching liquid waves of ultrasound
Never breathing the words twice in a lifetime

Lee J

Couldn't resist.

Dave

My love appears, just like me

Speared by belief
Woven into flickering tapestries of illusion
Drenched in the sunlight
Of a single beam
To thought
And exultation
Freezing dreams to desires
Achieving feeling

Forbidden and alluring

Dressed in memories
Circling
To fly to heights

Leaving me open to the elements
Gentle vows
That meant no harm
And death by fire remembers
That glorious man in the street
It is the story, in the first person
I’d ever put my hands on
Walking across extraordinarily deep
Windows, off the middle of day
We certainly were heavy brass door knobs
Knockers of Independence, weren’t we?
Touching liquid waves of ultrasound
Never breathing the words twice in a lifetime
