Here the bang forth prophecy:
she was crippled some degree
bent in ways that charcoal broke
and eraser bled the knead
begging to be bread
her man
tapping storms
a nervous leg
was the tell that told his bluff
I muttered to myself enough
I shuddered, thinking
fisticuffs
shadows in the bend of her
artist eye of frank observe
gulleys dug her hollow stare
underneath her eyes
compared
a contrast of her innocence--
purple lending hue to blue
lavender in light, I knew
the rivers that she'd wept
and I
shook my head, remembering...

Wow what a memory jogger. I went through abuse but not like my mom did. You jogged memories of her and my dad. My stomach is in knots. very touching.
