Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2004-11-23 02:50 AM

It was late,
slowly I ran the hot water,
until it filled the tub,

I put on some soft music,
(your music)
As I began to undress,
I thought of you,
relaxed, I stepped,
toe first into the water,

Oh! my acheing back,
could use a rub,
from soft, gentle hands,
filled with a touch,
of love,

As I layed back,
I began to think thoughts,
of you and I,
some happy,
some made me cry,

This is my time to think,
listening to love songs,
so many poems dance,
across my head,
I'd rather be with you
instead,

A million words,
between us both,
but yet, not one,
single touch,

that is alot to say,
about love,
Is it not?

I close my eyes,
and I escape to your world,
of laughter, our conversations,
and I want you more,

My heart grows inches,
pressing against my chest,
so filled with love,
beating, it cannot rest,

Minutes, hours go by,
song after song,
and I lay there,
silently still,

I wonder why,
I can't be where I
belong,

What is fantasy?
What is real?

Like a fish caught,
in a net, the tub,
confines me, binds me,
Yet I want to be free,
to swim in oceans,
I have yet to see,

The only freedom,
for this pisces mermaid,
is shedding her skin,
taking her bath,
at a quarter till ten,

Thinking thoughts of you,
over and over again,
with the strength of your love,
One day she will break free,
of the tub,

and swim...swim...swim....

Come, love all of me, mind, body, spirit..feel my passion, taste of me, be filled completely!

"pisces mermaid"

I knew it!  I knew it!  I knew it!
You are a compelling writer, have an artistic flair, know more than you tell,
and, I bet, sometimes tell more than you should.
But your writings draw the reader in and you can make a point with a pen,
or with a chunk of coal.

Thanks for sharing.  I do enjoy your poetry… Really!
