It Can Wait 'Til Another Day |

At times my life gets hectic, And my wheels begin to spin. I’m going nowhere fast, As I’m spun by whirling wind. Whenever I get out of sync And off the garden path, I get somewhat agitated, Seeking peace in scented bath. There I gain perspective, As I find my inner still. Bubbles lighten up my mood, ~ And they’re better than a pill! I ponder my predicaments, And plan my modes of action. By solving problems one by one, Will bring me satisfaction. Mountains become mole hills, When I blow away the smog. My mind sees things more clearly, As my plans lift hazy fog. By putting things in their place, And into manageable pieces. Burdens leave my shoulders, As each of them releases. When life now overwhelms me, I centre myself and say, If I can’t handle what’s on my plate, ~ It can wait 'til another day! Ah, a good hot bath is so soothing - I mellow to music and candle light and steam rising - Good to let worries go - to not get caught up in the rush of things - there is time - Hugs - Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

Linda, this had a bubbly clean feel about it! It reminds me of something I told my daughter once....I told her to think of Scarlet o'Harra in Gone with the Wind.....when she said, something like, "of fiddle dee dee..... I'll think about that tomorrow. And then she would pick her skirt up and get to work on what she could. Enjoyed this! the lily |
