You almost caught me
in my bouquet
of assorted colors,
sprinkled with madness
and melodrama,
laced with the etchings
of a heart interrupted,

you could have had me;

my glove found itself
dropping, as i reached
out for you,
but your hand withdrew
o so suddenly,
and i need not ponder
on the whys of it all,

you almost had me;

but i know that you knew
i really was too crazy
anyhow, for even one like you.

too crazy or too sane, it seems sometimes difficult to tell between the both and I will try (from now on) to "catch" you everytime inked one.

Enjoyed

Enjoyed this - and all the thoughts it brings to mind - I like being on the edge of "out there" - makes life more interesting

YOU?

Crazy?

*sniff* I'm sorry, but you're application has been denied due to the sanity of this particular post.

Much enjoyed, lady.

Beautiful!

....and their loss
becomes another's joy...
in the loosening grip
of the "almost"
that does not count,
you free-fall into the abyss
only to discover
the long dark decent
is an emergence into life.
