                   Barnes

Music whispers sweet dreams sweeping long passion walks to hills with images calling windswept trees to a torpid day

Drifting long grass

Moments from sublime pleasure

Spinning wood inspired fragrant desires of peace, courtesy of a small pond milling in a lake milling compliments from busy ducks milling for essence as we write a dream silencing peace exulting

The sun shining on grass dreams of molten ice cream on cornets blowing trumpet voluntary of desire to our written love affair writing molten papers tucked with ribbons of anguish in fire of lies and truth of desire as eyes flash lightning within your blazing gut wrenching soul

We blazed a beacon to our needs delivering hope as we took of ourselves visions of rhythms throughout visions of seconds in a seamless fabric

Dark as herded cattle to a night drenched wall we sought space as dawn awoke to a sombre richness fooling us of its glory painted by whispers as we sought balm kicking an emerald into a forgotten place

Beauty was a mindful image knowing explored feelings watched the world fail to find us but will the world leave our haven rented for your heart, in peace

What mirrors echo a reflection of torn thoughts that in spring danced in buds to steal hearts in summer tilting hair to delight images flowering in winter warmth

Caressing high trees touching bark swirling empty ideas empty words and empty thoughts to a life that knew winter as we moved our gentle thoughts to bright fires and images in heat of a dawn sunrise

Remembering your eyes spitting fire as we knew of one day and a day when must I lose and loose you to our words and thoughts and loss as I give you away to words that bare the soul aching echoing in the slashes and gashes that tear into the gut as you read the words in white

Your eyes were a beauty sculptured from the deep living only for one
But why a shoulder when I can have your eyes
To softly drink from them
To be as one for ever
What day could intrude on us
For we have
Forever

Very nice write, DavePage.  Your last stanza tells a whole story in itself.
Enjoyed the story.

Thanks JL

It does sound like a story but I was in fact trying to capture the essence.

Maybe I will explore the story.
