Listening to every heart

For Whom You Write

It is for him, that intangible person
You’ve not yet met, but he has
Always circled the axis
Of your thoughts.

It is for him
That you quill your deepest secrets,
Your strongest desires,
Whispering ancient secrets
Not even known to you ~
Before he embraced
Your mind.

He has always been there,
A faceless presence in
Strong-armed dreams
Of nighttime flights, with

Ingenious personified, a
Man strapped by grace and dignity
Wrapped in silk cloak and
Dark shadows

But a unique being,
He is every man’s inner self, one
He cannot by design present
In public, but the one who lives
In his heart and soul
For what is woman.

It is he, who bends in the wind,
To hear her sounds triumphant,
Who perseveres to bring her
Over any obstacle.

In gentleness, he soothes,
By compassion, he argues for all rights
For all people.

Only his mind
Can best his own attempts,
So his will power is stronger.

He is who he is.
He visits my dreams.
I write my soul for him.

It is minor payment duly returned.

A very beautiful, precious write, dear Karilea!

Your pen captured the pure essence of that particular truth so well.

I will keep this.

Love, Margherita
