how does one find inspiration
in times they need it most?
it comes at will, and fades away
as if it was a ghost.

what is there to write about
when nothing comes to mind,
and though you try and try to seek,
still nothing do you find?

who is there to counsel with
when artistic thoughts are slacking,
and all your favorite peers do leave
imagination lacking?

where is one in need of help
to stir their heart to go
when emotions seemingly run dry,
and words just will not flow?

when , if ever, will i be
in such a place and time
to feel again inspired so as
to write a skillful rhyme?

why is it that my pen falls short
with thoughts, so vague and few
each time i sit to think and write?
i do not know.

do you?

" Now what do you THINK about that? "

Well you didn't fail this time. When blocked either righteous indignation, a trip to an art museum or indulgence in published writer's works seems to work for me. Enjoyed.

I think you are a big tease…
This is a great write.
And I bet you went right through it like: ”Budder”

Enjoyed.

I am not sure (by this) that you have a problem. I go browse the posters at AllPosters.com and other such sites, some great artwork, it fills the time and even prompts the old Muse into action once in a while. Neat write.

I think you passed the test easily...your
flow is very good with few flaws.  A word
"tought" that probably should be "thought"..
Overall very nice,  a cute write...I think
we all have walked this path of the empty
basket...
