Dressed for the eyes,
green eyes, black eyes,
eyes of velvet,
whatever you like,
but I like dappled –
mirrored truth
of a mind wide open.

I have never seen wild daffodils,
the images of love,
or progression of grace
in temporal wanderings.
Inconsiderate
a shovelful of earth
on the sunrise of love
tiering up
in cyber blue skies
and the roses wait
a morning’s isle
dipping over the landscape
memories and mists
of magic.

Silver winds of sea breeze
and Venus dances
spring to summer
anticipating autumn
because colour comes
sometimes in the fall.

High cliffs
to soul canyons within,
but why the fool in seeking
another of the quiet ones
in autumn colour?

Blessed be life’s window
even when the sun is gone.
Where are you,
lady of mystery,
silky woman?
In the dark they have no colour
reasoning with God
the fall of discontentment.

Inner abstracts of stressed colours
outlasting silence,
navigating mile six past Turner’s Bend
and the blades of grass grow green,
dear Thomas,
but I know you knew
the brides in shadow
like flowers in a storm,
weapons in production
of quiet waters.

I sigh.  Not I nor me
in disco lights
the chase of minds
this August night
along the worded path.

Take it!  I sent you
notes on the rising sky
and the kiss of evermore
but it is a morning of leaves
and washed footprints
in my midnight thoughts
of the passing summer.
Dying is a holiday,
silence – I hold you
like a dog.

Worn, under siege,
the poets of inner and outer universes
two stone castles
inanimate.
Life is a haze
a slow fall,
that must be the reason
memories of madmen
and echoes between
my lady and my lady
like ribbons in the wind
forgotten.

Billowing angelic pillows
of poetic whispers
flowers in the gutter,
a “Good-bye Story”
for just this moon,
Corona moon,
poetess of the blue
in the dream garden.

I just needed you to know
to be in love with you
the destined way
before it turns to ashes
on the loss of a child
tracing lines
in a pixie related patchwork
of life.

Said in ancient voices,
“Call it love”
as spirit flutes dance a wind song
in the silence
of autumn’s embers,
autumn’s ashes.

Thanks Sunshine and LeeJ - yes, I'm having fun but it's still a pretty emotional experience.

Hi M - I do plead guilty to merely looking at titles as my mind goes off in its own little direction.  This is merely a weaving of titles into one long poem - I lay no claim to it.  Thanks so much for reading.

Thank you, TD.  I so very much appreciate your kind comment.  I find myself wondering how it will end though - oh, the mysteries of life!

There is a mystic that your poetry of combining a little of the spirit of all of us conveys.  You are a master at pulling the feel out.
