yeah I guess it had to be
I must have written it in mind
because, y'see, creatively,
my thought transcended time and I
suckled from the teat erect
of wolverine and wine
a flail
clicking clocks within the swift
ticking of a pissed cat's tail
licking paws and telling lies
blinking too complacently
alternating colored eyes
by the movement of the sun
across a thirsty sky...and I
played a claw against the wise
sucking on the cold dry sigh
of what you used to give...

Starve to death attempting to survive on  only the souring milk of dimming memories. A pissed cat's tail is snakelike and it's unreliable rythym can get one off-balanced. Enjoyed.

grin...I don't believe I often quote a reply as a thank you but this is well worth it.

Oh Indeed, R.S. Wells, indeed.

and I do appreciate all of you for replying, but for some reason, Richard just caught the tone with that. I'll bet he's in a rocking chair in a room fulla pissed-tail cats too.

My youngest son once asked me how to milk a cat.  What could I tell him, except very very carefully.
