You wore yellow the day we met,
screeching like a schoolbus
or some shocked banana
that wandered in a icecream barge;
you rang of neon clowns and cowardice
jaundiced skin and bad genes,
and men that were peculiar,former
nerds and misfits back in highschool;
i dared you to go home and change
and return with the beast next time;
you came back, a desperado in black attire
carrying boxes filled with charms,
trinkets of blacklace and binding ties,
blindfolds and harlequin dramas
having me greet your naughty side,
the one that lurks in your boyscout eyes,

that late monday morning
when the sun dripped yellow of sin and desire,
and lessons of superficial wrappings on boxes
that opened to your most delicious and decadent surprise.

I have never read a poem of yours that I didn't come away with something special. Each write is a gift to the reader! It truly is.
