on winter's morning sunrise
when leaves are wet of dew
I crossed the road on slippers
to share this moment with you

and though I live in farmers land
where work is starting early morn
on treasured moments such as these
I never feel forlorn

when silence speaks it's language own
and nature is about to waken
that is the moment of inner peace
one should not let forsaken

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

So good to read you again Titia.
This is wonderful, full of life...and very wise.  Never should we miss these opportunities of peace and contentment.

Thank you,
TD

Wise words from a wise woman.  You speak the silence very well and give us the gift of you words in reminder as to what is realy important.  Thank you for sharing with us this treasure and for the treasure of you also.  A most enjoyable read for sure.
