Paint me a social cliché
With dark gullible and wrinkled cover
Recycled into the movement
Punching me between the eyes
Trapped and Free?
Trapped and Free?
Which one?
Eyes dart back and forth….
I’m in the same position
That was
Can’t someone out there move me?
Please?
Could it be a mute objective?
Throwing fields of dreams at me
I forgot my catcher’s mitt
Or is it the loss I’m trapped in
Like an ocean stuck between land masses?
Restricted by mortality
Limbs relying on voices
Running across my psyche

Gravitational pull memorizes my address
Appearance speaks perplexity
Trying to spell my name
There are no answers
No explanations
No credibility
Yet
He calls me sweetly
In the colors of dreams
Why, do I ride shotgun?

He is the breeze which flows across my hungry skin
Pushing me into tomorrow
The words I miss
The ones that were never said
Worshiping the way I breathe
Peep holes into my depths
Ripples radiate, fingering moments
Lusting expression, flashing across my eyes
Oh God, go away, scat….
I’m
Perched on some fantasy
Waiting for coincidence
Why is it I can always sense him?
What am I, his silicone vision?
“Hisses” I whisper, teeth clenched
Pointing an gun at surreal landscapes
“Stop or I’ll shoot”, I warn….
But he fears no evil
While clicking my remote!
Please blow me a kiss good bye
With some
Mantra sobering Christianity
My face has lines
From pressing hard against the screen
Waiting for a distant shore
I can never reach

No longer tracing the night sky
Tying my fingers
Covering my eyes
Refusing to listen
Counting the last memory
Feeling
Touching
Feeding wildly on his scented skin
Creamy but absent
Leaving my thoughts, in the middle of the night
Simply stripping my image
And walking away…
Frugal murmurs my mind
Clinging on the edge
Sharks swimming round
Nudging me
Coming in for the kill

Caught in the grayness
Harboring a tide
Implicating sensory imagery
Elements of characterization plots
Brief and devoid of action, thus
Highly suggestive
His red roses pressed between my heart
And lungs full of reconciliations
Fascinating me

Oh talisman of love
Handing me white and red roses (unity)
Like a Greek warrior
Dark haired and tall
Home for a week furlough
With salt free chocolates
Laced with cocaine
Like yesterdays candle-light
Elizabeth Browning reading my thoughts out loud
Shall I love him, even after death do us part?
Can someone point me in an alternate route?
Put an end to this cold war
The test of time has rewritten the writer
And if history repeats itself
I’m going down fighting!

Lee~
Gal ... there is soooooooooooo much in this spill of ink~

'Like yesterdays candle-light
Elizabeth Browning reading my thoughts out loud
Shall I love him, even after death do us part?'

Just 'one' of my picks ... but the entire piece likes me very much~

I always enjoy the travel of your words and reading the roads you walk down -
