Drying On The Spin Cycle

my tears
are drying
and maybe someday
you can
catch me sane
when my imagination
isn’t on overdrive
and I can finally
speak freely
and you
can listen

just some words cut out
from the diary of my heart

would take me too many tears to speak sane these days, but a breath between them would be nice too

I should have listened as well.  So few lines, so much meaning.  Thank you for providing my thought of the day.  Steve.

sad...I so wish people wouldn't fear speaking their minds....I know it's not nice to hurt feelings. But I would prefer honesty anytime...best to get it on, and go forward...or not...depending on how one may look at things.

Good one

You write with such power of emotion Helen.
