((*"I have been gone far to long, this is my newest poem. Hopefully, I am back to stay. I'm very happy to be back, and I hope you enjoy the poem."*))

-

The walls falling in closer to me,
The cieling collapsing is all I can see.
Running from the pain, and the sorrow.
Believing, and hoping in tomorrow.

The screaming of the pain inside,
I do only what I can, run and hide.
Hide from pain, from the thing that scares me the most,
My very existence dissapearing with every line I post.

I scream into the darkness, begging for light.
Hoping that one day, I will truly have the sight.
The sight to see the things I've only once seen,
Happiness, -- That's all I really want to see.

I pray for the day that I do not have to hope,
The day I don't have to climb the rope,
The very rope to slow the pain,
Of my life going down the drain.
For which is driving me insane.

I beg for the day that I don't have to worry,
Don't have to listen to the invisible jury,
Screaming continuosly that I am guilty,
Of being poor, or not wealthy

People don't understand the burdon of being me,
Not knowing, or being able to see,
The very fact that my life is just hope,
Hope for something better, so I don't have to cope-
-with this anoyence of a life.

Voices screaming in the background,
Screaming back at them, not seeing anything around.
Fighting the demonds which live in my very mind,
But when I face them I somehow become blind.

I cry for the forgivness for what I could do,
To myself, and possibly you.
I feel it's the best for us all,
If I just say bye, and take the never ending fall ---
--- into the darkness.

((*"NOTE: This poem had no relation to suicide, I have had some say they thought that's what I mean't in the ending, it's just a metaphor."*))

"The truth is there, but you must want it, and must want it bad enough to be able to grasp it." - Me

Terry Pratchett wrote something of this feeling in "The Word".

I suppose it sounds better in context and I think this must be part of something else you are writing.

Hello Connel. This is very good writing.
I'm glad that it's only writing and not the way
it sounds. I hope you are doing good.
Hugs,
Ethel
