Storm tossed, lost.
Adrift upon an endless sea.
Me, the reality.
Upon the shores of tomorrow I gaze,
breaking through today's shadowy haze.

In quiet reverie I can see myself clearly,
coloring the rainbow with my own special palette,
the one born into my heart and soul,
the one my fingertips strive to bring alive,
to flow within pristine thoughts
uncontaminated
by the muddied colors of inhumanity.

I seek my private rainbow melody,
the chords of ethereal sounds
which might soothe the heart of this savage beast,
or least offer some sweet reprieve
from the discordant trappings of day-to-day
ho hum and all that stuff that rides along
in speeding bullet trains of thought,
with bah humbug and the-who-cares
it’s-not-my-problem mentality.

Yet I am no better or worse
than those who chose a different pathway
to personal or financial salvation.

To walk the walk of life in honesty and truth
is the only way I wish to continue walking,
and it appears to me that isn’t always
the most favored version of reality.

So silence may be my best option for now.
Perhaps, in the stone coldness of silence,
undeniable truths will sift themselves through
the multiple concentric layers of static and cacophony
which pierce both eardrums and heart.

Somewhere out there,
my sweet musical rainbow does exist.

Peace to all, namaste.

May ripples of LOVE
become waves of PEACE

Be at peace, gentle friend
All bad times will come to end
When there're words you wish to send,
Come back here to cheer your mend.

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

It is good for one to know oneself and one's needs.  Good luck to you, Brave One, for following your star.

kacy you will be sorely missed. i'm often guilty of hiding in the shadows, failing to encourage or tell people how much i admire them. you're compassion, courage, and conviction has, and will always be, a source of hope in my waning view of humanity. through your comments, and more importantly the way you've chosen to live your life, you've left us with a testament to all that is right with the human race. hopefully in our lifetime, or our children's lifetime something will sink in and more of us will get our act together.

stay strong, stay safe and most importantly stay true to yourself.

"I seek my private rainbow melody,
the chords of ethereal sounds"

"etheral sounds" are in the rhythm of the great, head drummer...

You are seeking its clear voice, having heard part of its rhythm, you desire its lyrics...The music is intoxicating,
But you are sober enough to know you must learn the words, and need to sing full part harmony with them.

The voice on the wind will carry you to the source of the music, that is why you must go..

May the silence soothe your harried soul.

Your footprint remains.
