It's been a wonderful journey
filled with warm hearts and sighs
colorful hellos, as well as sad goodbyes,
and through it all I've come to realize
how much poetic justice there is
when shared through the eyes of so many
exceptional friendships formed in this home.

But now it's time for me to step outside,
to venture beyond these blue walls,
rediscover some things about life
that I misplaced or lost along the way.

Be well and safe, dear friends,
I'll hold the memories close to my heart,
and forever cherish the friendships
I've made within this home.

Time will tell soon enough,
if this will indeed be
one of my last writes.

namaste, and love to all

May ripples of LOVE
become waves of PEACE

You are truly a gadabout, girl.
Best of luck, Kacy, but so sorry to see you go!
Your presence here has been as asset and I for one have enjoyed it.
Thank you.
You will be missed.

I sure hope this isn't a last write.  I know I'd like your style.  I read your prose about the Masada.  It is powerful.

Ah Kacy..let this not be your last write!
Your style has graced these pages,
and brought many smiles, and yes, even tears.
You will be missed sweet friend.
Please hurry back to us...

Namaste.

Last writes????  I sincerely hope not, though I do understand the call of reality.  I enjoy your works as you have firm beliefs in certain areas that are quite prevelant and a treat to see such dedication to one's cause.  I wish you well and hope you at least keep writing if not for anyone but yourself.  Take care and may God Bless your journies.

Kacy

I understand your wanderlust no matter where you lust to go...
You are the hippie girl beside me in a dream life long ago,
One of a thousand silhouettes that held out their thumbs.

*"When the mist rolls in on Highway One
like a curtain to the day
A thousand silhouettes hold out their thumbs
and I see them and I say
You are my children
my sweet children
I am your poet."

Be well, orphan of all parents, quick and dead
Who left and leave, the road rough and littered,
That did and still do not understand your dream
Nor the earths poetry, have broken its rhyme scheme.

*"You are the orphan in an age
of no tomorrows
and with your walking you wage a war
against the sorrows
Your fathers left you
a row to hoe."
and you'll hoe it.

Wishing you well on you sojourn,
Your voice will be the trumpet
That I hear in the wind...
Blow it loud, my friend.

*"So walk to the edges of a dying kingdom
There's one more summer just around the bend
The amber in your smile is brave and winsome
for though your highway has no end, it never ends
There is still the sky
the windy cliff
and the sea below it
...take an angel's ram horn trumpet
...blow it
...blow it."

Keep in touch...

======================================

I found them in the creek...along the river trail ... on a summit with an endless view...on a beach where the blue told me true...

we dont have to be "here" to write poetry...
you are a poet dear, no matter where your roads take you to now....
Youre a kindred spirit...an explorer- may your searching take you to new heights Kacy-girl.

May the roads rise up to meet you...
May the wind be at your back ...

until we meet again ...............

peace Kac....

Kacy dear Kacy, wishing you all the best ever, you surely deserve it...but once a poet always a poet, so stop by and say hello from time to time, and know you will sorely be missed...by someone wishing all your dreams come true...don't say good-bye, just say see ya?  OK?

Love and hugs..Lee J.

Kacy I wish you only good luck and let me know where you settle okay?  The library has computer access so perhaps we might see you along your way?  I truly do wish the best for you and Sara, and it's just not going to be any other way, stay positive and hang in there.  ((((hugs to you both)))

Sharon, big hugs. But I am not budging from this general location, not for a long time, though the job scene is horrendous and I can no longer afford the luxury of DSL and sitting here gazing at blue pages of poetry. I will pop in as I can, Pips is in my blood LOL, but the time is NOW for me to back away, and reconnect with 3D reality.
Love you all, I will be OK, I just need to regroup and recover, and it looks like that will take more than a few days off.
I'll still be online for at least another week, to enjoy the company of all the passionate poets who live in this home.

I thought if I ignored this it would go away (not you)

Sometimes we need some space to sort things out. We sure can't attempt to write them if we haven't examined them.

I left for months. We'll see you again, as it should be, when you're ready.

Kacy, darlin', I have been away from here so long.  But tonight, I was "pulled" to read your poem.  I hope your venture out is not permanent for I feel the kindred spirit you share here.  Sorry I haven't been around to read more lately.  I will be coming back.  I just don't know exactly when....it's just the way things are at the moment.  If, when I come back full force, I do not see you, I am going to miss you greatly.  Be well, my friend....keep my email and stay in touch .... okay?   and one for the road if you will remember.... lol !

Hey, do like the commercial. Live in your world, play in ours!

Seriously, you're one of the names I look for on the rare occasions I drift over here, and I'll miss you if you go for good.  Take care, girl.
