I was drivin back from Houston wishin you were with me your smiling face and loving eyes were thoughts that made me lonely I thought how your voice consoles me so I gave a hiking girl a ride just someone to talk to a young girl nothing like you but someone must have seen her by my side Now I come home and feel alone your haunting piano cuts the air and beneath our wedding picture I sit in my favorite chair But you're only playin sad songs thinking everything has changed and in your frozen stare I miss your eyes that used to flame. Baby please believe me there's been no one but you through all the years we shared our faith. I know you think I've wronged you I see a deep hurt in your eyes girl my heart's about to break. I been wishin there was some way to prove that I haven't changed so you could see beyond the rumored lies But I come home and feel alone your haunting piano cuts the air and beneath our wedding picture I sit in my favorite chair But you're only playin sad songs thinkin everything has changed and in your frozen stare I miss your eyes that used to flame. copyright:roach&morris/E3B1G9/2002 Ain't doin nothin at all |

Baby please believe me there's been no one but you through all the years we shared our faith. I know you think I've wronged you I see a deep hurt in your eyes girl my heart's about to break. I been wishin there was some way to prove that I haven't changed so you could see beyond the rumored lies a heartbreaker for sure but the wright is very touching/sobering thank you for sharing |
