I heard him whisper back a reply
a capture of breath ragged with
emotion held in check far too long

it was then that the tears came
a warm rain in winter to contrast
the cold of denial

From far off into the horizon,
I felt his heart beating in forceful
strokes to offset the hunger in his
words...
words I long to eat into the depths
of me until I am filled, even fattened
though I shall never be

as long as he speaks

I shall never be...

Would you tell your muse to talk to mine, please?

A beckoning to silence the starvation of heart is a feast that should hold many desserts.  A treat for us to read your words.

You've really been onto something lately.

Must be hearing the muse very well indeed!

A beauty, Tier
