Tide at flood, Venus
Lies under its taken path;
Feet in deeper sea.
*
Little death, has made Mars feint
Vulcan sleeps...and so she rests.

Fluid is the dress,
That covers her face and neck;
That blurs opaque, she..
*
Pipers wait near, patiently,
Time of ebb to bare her waist;

Its then that shore-birds,
Comb the beach, that is her breast;
And strain her sea-weed hair.
*
To all, her body she gives;
All, she loves, both Gods and beasts.

Flooding waters drift
Back to sea and trident's King
Distress finds this heart

Souvenier of pale beached shell
Brings sea love songs back to me

Karilea.....
Great reply....

There is more to the story...
My muse says I must add:

To all she gave love,
Except one, who scorned and ran;
One she could not woo

So says the bard of Avon,
In a story he thought true.

Shy Adonis fled,
Towards a boars tooth through the heart;
Life from him was bled.

So she lived a life of vex,
Vixen tears, the Goddess shed.

Please add more, should you return...
And this reaches your eyes..

Little death, has made Mars feint
Vulcan sleeps...and so she rests.

Love those lines especially, as well as the entire collaboration with venus and mars.

Beautiful work, I hope you are well, ford~

Statuesque carvings
Marbled lines of curved appeal
Entreat mans vision

And heart, and soul, and longing
Never they to realize

Every line fools
Men will see marble as flesh,
Myth's reality

All the while the spirit stays
Goddess holds the magic

Karilea

Marble white, and pearl
Such fine lines catch a mans eye
Statuesque, the word..
*
Treats make pleasant entreatment,
In lands of Gods or mortals.

Thousands of them pass,
Years, and decades, ages roll
Still the myth promotes
*
Man to daydream fantasies,
Of touching her marble breasts .

Hello Ford,
  Another masterpiece.
Love it yes love it.
You and Sunshine should write one together.

Great waves shall crash on
Oceans will tide, marble stand
All things being one

Man shall reach in search of warmth
Goddess to smile at his blush

All it took was touch
Mountains trembled, valleys rose
Breath of wind expelled

Miracles occur like this
When hands extend to worship.

i best not trance to deeply into your words, lest i become ensnared as well...
