Tree of Life

He was a young tree-
His limbs reaching towards the heavens
and the glorious stars of the universe.
His roots not deep but strong
fighting for life and maturity.
Each day he reaches higher, wider, and deeper.
His leaves,
turned towards the rain and the warming sun-
Capture the strength
and
the life of natures bountiful mysteries.
Our young tree of life is older now-
His limbs are bent in many ways.
His roots have grown deep-
The life giving waters and the warmth
of the sun, have given him strength in many ways.
How majestic this old tree of life.
Are we not as majestic as the tree when we are old
and bent with time?
Be loving, gentle-
Nurture our old as we would
The Old Tree of Life.

Love and Hugs coming your way.
BonBon
