Moist

I find the table farthest from the fountain;
I already know the restroom is locked,
and the wet-lip coffee clerk would be
thinking about me peeing, the whole time.

Thoughts of my little revenge, handing him
back an ever-so-slightly damp key….

He’s left a bottle – impromptu vase – here
on this one table, an inch or so of water
and a fat sunflower, just starting to open.
Little waves jiggle in it as I write this.

Maybe next time then. I can wait.

He didn't really save himself with that sunflower, but it was fun to make mental threats, knowing I'd never actually do 'em... Gonna post another one about him later, he showing himself human after all... wierd kid though, even if he does make good coffee....

LOL... Those fountains do make their presence known, don't they??? LOL I love the paths your thoughts took here... even when we don't act on our threats, they entertain mightily! *G*

Delightful and slightly naughty... much like the author! *S* YES!
