There’s a little girl
dressed in white
sitting
on a sofa

by a window
The light shines
on her dark hair

Her head is turned
Her face
is hidden
in shadows

She sits alone

waiting for someone...
to appear

there will always be
poetry
as it sings
the song
of the heart,
even in
it's darkest moments
of despair
