I have met them
Their tongues of nightshade treachery licked my body in deceitful flattery
As I walk in light, true forms take shape, leaving rind to thin reality
Of all I would not guess, intrinsically I know…and trust, my smallest victory

I have met them
Chubby cheeked and honorable
Fell short upon the high grounds of a white-capped principal
Poised in listen of a pale and thready hope, the heady scope of orange carnival

I have met them
True of heart, the strong and unrelenting part of him
Soft is the touch within the bellow of hard wind, given truth a sword of might
Peeled and fed, my body coils to contact every inch of space held tight

Beneath his hand, where I was sent with tools to flourish, in the land of broken things

Almost a fairytale quality to this,  though
I am sure it speaks greatly of life,  with
wisdom and certainty.  A little different,
but very effective.

A little explanation with my drift from the norm...

A response to something that I read, as so often is a human trait, of black and white thinking.

Good or bad...enthralled or bitter...feast or famine.

Speaking to the commerce of love, in the Goblin's Market (smiling at Sunshine)

It is the gray areas that make all the difference in our thinking and our ability to transend what was not, and create from the best, what could be.

Thank you
