On The Waking
~*Marge Tindal*~

Sometimes on the waking
before Moon has kissed Sun
I wander to the meadow
to gaze the night, now done~

I gaze in awesome wonder
as He presents to me
A kaleidoscope of colors rich
in paint of masterpiece~

With a gentle splash of gold
tinged in shaded mauve
The glow of night curtseys
to the dawn in rising pause~

For just one shushing moment
they marry the sky in celebration
Moon and Sun illuminate the palette
My joy is true elation~

~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost,
the spirit rejoices over what it has left.
- Sufi epigram <))><

Many a time I have sit and marveled as night began its travel across the scarlet sky of twilight.
Right now I'm listening to an indian group called Brule.
This picture somehow goes with the gentle music.

Dear Marge:  This is wonderful and so uplifting!  I know the feeling! I sometimes stay up at 5:00 a.m. to watch the day unfold.
