A Touch of Honey A touch of honey sweets the day The rue of ruckus on the way It soothes the palette and the mind It is a sign of rainbows find Wet your tongue a dewdrop bright A taste of honey full of light It paints the sky an amber hue An aphrodisiac, a coup It plays upon the tongue in lease An enzyme for the words of peace It mellows anger and the bellow Turns the languor into Jell-O I suggest a spoon of honey To turn your day to clear and sunny The pleasant of a flowers face And makes a steady thoughtful pace It’s free to all when comes the morn A filigree of early dawn |
