The Hallmark Man Visited My Backyard

He brought his little bag of tricks
and through the night, began to flick
from his little bag of treats
a landscaped scene so very neat ~

one sees upon a Christmas card,
what transpired in my backyard…
early, early this morning riser,
little sleep doesn’t leave me wiser

but see the dreamscape set, and more!
‘cause the Hallmark man came at four
and set before me such a scene
yes, it was a vision’s dream…

Fall’s colors covered my earth’s floor
crystal sprinkles covered them more
with little light, the sparkling set
before my eyes, beauty, met

and all I could think as I opened the door
was that “the Hallmark man came the night before…”

Smiling at this poem....
Words as bright as "Sunshine"

Come read to me some poem,
Some simple and heartfelt lay,
That shall soothe this restless feeling
And banish the thoughts of day.

Hey, maybe PIP should start selling cards!

Hello Ron!

A Sunshine series would be a natural!

Not sure a Krawdad card would too popular, though, come to think of it.

I just love those Hallmark moments!  I've gotta learn how to post pics with poems, they add sooo much -

Morning to you my friend -
