                 day 247

                 doom

I hear so many echoes in this room
From all these poets shouting down their doom
Some throw up angry words in great dismay
Perhaps to keep their demons well at bay
And others write of counting price and cost
Of living with the loves they've won and lost

I hear so many echoes in this room
From all these poets shouting down their doom
Some give up secrets of their many lives
They could not tell their husbands or their wives
And others write confused and so obscure
Their words will not be helpful as a cure

I hear so many echoes in this room
From all these poets shouting down their doom
Some store up lines then spew them in a burst
As if to cast out spells that have them cursed
And others chronical the worst of fears
That haunt them now and will for many years

I hear so many echoes in this room
From all these poets shouting down their doom

And in those voices of cry and hue we find a symphony to add our cries to - and in a chorus we chant out our depths, leaving smiles, cringes, and tears having been wept -

Gotta love the ruckus -

How true..how true..
Here we can let it all out...the good, the bad and the ugly.
And, there is always someone to listen.
Love this keeper!

Ah Kraw...not what I expected.
And here all the time I thought
I whispered!

Karilea - if I whisper, will you listen?  Keeping in mind, I must stand close...and keep my promises...
