Waves of dark emotion
  flood the soul of me,
I pray for God’s redemption
  to set my spirit free.
Heavy is my heart,
  for I’ve fallen off the Path.
I beg for God’s mercy,
  ~ ‘tho I merit more His wrath.

But God is my Father,
  and I know He loves me still.
Even though I strayed from Light
  and followed not His Will.
Pleasures of the flesh,
  were not worth the price I paid.
I sold my soul in devil’s bed,
  where he and I had laid.

Standing in the sunshine,
  with God’s Light beaming down,
I gather in the beauty,
  of nature all around.
Warmth from rays of gold,
  soak to the core of me.
Healing my emotions,
  and setting spirit free.

We all are the children,
  of Our Father up above.
He is forgiving,
  ~ with unconditional love.
Now I have returned
  to the Path of Lighted Way,
With heart full of thankfulness,
  as I bow my head and pray.

Joy fills my being,
  from the sky down to the earth.
I'm a conduit of Light,
  since the mome of my rebirth.
Never shall I stray
  into valleys of the night,
For now I am flying,
  in blue skies full of Light.

Being human is best, even though I know you are an Earth Angel, and making mistakes is just the way we all are. Live, be happy, and be you, just the way you are. If you truly think of Him as your Father, then he will know your true intent. Dads know.

I do my very best to be a "good girl" ~ and thankfully, I do a pretty good job of it! ~ most of the time!

This truly was just poetry ~ but it did flow from my heart.

You need not worry. I did not really fall off of the Path ~ well, maybe I have strayed a little bit every now and then ~ but only minor infractions!
