Staccato

She
tripped
over her
slip
white, long, pale

now
too much sun
covers dark,
burns tingle
electric shock
sense wakening
thinking
too much sun

No.

Truth, taut,

nod.

Too much time
her light
didn’t shine.

Coyotes echo
dark songs.

puzzled in reading you... it always feels Like I should know you...and that I have read you.. (shrugging)

nicely done ma'am.. and the ending hold as tight as the rest, while adding that bit of "beyond" top the feel

Thank you, DS

Cpat, just another poet
who sounds like a lot of others.

If you enjoy, then I smile, passing shadows. Thank you.

into this night i wonder, it's morning that i dread, another day of knowing of, the path i fear to tread.

now
too much sun

------the senses awaken

Too much time
her light
didn’t shine.

Coyotes echo
dark songs

I like staccato... but could hear the distant echo

Enjoyed--No daut about it!  Catrina, I like your style.
