you lick your lips
like there is a kiss there
and you want to taste it
not the first time

but from a memory
to compare it
to the day dreams
that added some flavor

just s smile perhaps
a partway hello
goodbye
affection infection

it is then I notice
how you have made mine
seem so very dry
almost begging for attention

with just a whispered hi
