A Puppets Pantomime

I am a puppets pantomime
Dancing on the strings of time
And from the be that I can see
I sail upon an eon sea

My anchorage a rove of clover
Storing nectar passing over
Yet putting extra in my store
I know damn well can’t pass the door

Sometimes I wish that I could fly
Without a limit to the sky
Fly beyond my shadows pall
See horizons start and fall

Sometimes I say I do not care
A mind unschooled in eons wear
And know that I am but a knit
Dimensions that I would not fit

So why do I still act the fool?
And make these sounds of quiet pule

Pule, to whimper

I just can't imagine any strings on you.  I see instead you being the puppet master guiding yourself through this life.  Wonderful write and I even learned a new word.

Good morning to you, Sir Sonneteer!
You be not a puppet ~ but puppeteer!
Delighted as always am I to read,
Your words as sweet as nectar mead.

You are simply amazing! How do you keep this up! Day after day ~ Year after year! Books of your brilliant sonnets should be required reading for every literature course in every university ~ in every country! I can see your books being translated into hundreds of languages! ~ well, at least they should be!!!

Love you lots, you know!

To soar and see what lies o'er yonder
Is something that we all can ponder.

Well done.  KJ

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

Gentle,
Good morning sweet.

Professor,
LOL does that mean I get an A?

Mark,
Thank you my friend and have a wonderful day.

Well if I'm not a puppet, then maybe a lover? LOL

Well I'm whimpering.
