Why is there no rain tonight?
Where is there my hurricane?
I need to feel the same without
as this rage within refrains
howling in the emptiness
of myself contained
the same
as I ever never was
a constancy of change

in sane

lucid this monotony
here I am again
complain
tapping my monstrosity
chiseling the words
too plain
punching at the glass by keys
screaming at you
feel my pain
let me cut you quietly
with the edges of my grief.

bleed

I beg you
show me life
let me taste you
dying free
be damned the rules of poetry
blast the measurements of beat
I have need beyond this page--

hunger

feel me feel exchange
as we in each other seek
simplicity
complexity
nodding with a junkie's greed
of "yes, I feel it too..."

I do.

Pray that I could forsake this--
oh how easy life could be
had I never tasted blood
intermingled
quickening
in the union of the lust

of this

my pulse

in trust

of we

sharing one same heart

"I feed"

wishing I'd abstained.

Wow, m'lady, such passion expressed. You know just how to make the reader feel.

You always leave me in awe.

Very well done K.

serenity,
And an army of words ran down the hill and cleared the field. And here I sit in quiet will digesting the pill.

sometimes, the page is the safer route though, i hear your screams behind the glass
and can echo some of the same myself.
glad i stopped by to say thank you too.

Okay now, reach out and hug your monitor and that little tingle ya feel ... well that is me hugging ya back.  I always enjoy reading the treasures you give us and the way you express yourself.  Honesty to the core not skin deep.  Excellent writing.

so...youre trying to quit writing huh?
Is that what I read?????
Ok...you could do that....
right after pigs fly and and my muse gives 10 poems a day.

Poetry is emotion put into measure.
The emotion comes by nature ...
but the measure is acquired by art.
