Chrithmath ith coming
the gooth ith getting phat
pleathe to put a dollar
in the old manthz hat

if you hain’t a dollar
and you think it much too much
then I gueth the only contholation
you’re way outta touch

for a penny buyth
a bit o’ nothin’
compared to heretofore,
tho if you hain’t a penny
well, then, there ith the door!

an’ if you be a wond’rin’
why a lithp is on my lipth
then you’ve forgotten
a favorite melody
from when we were kidth.
