That seemed to float within the air
To never know if he was there
Not for certain

Moving through her sleep
Rounding o’er the satin edge
Shoulder straps let fall in hedge
Silence but a curtain

Comforting in twilight slip, casting but a shadows lip
Whispers through the pine, a timid and conducive sign

Responses firmed beneath the veils she wore
Fading dark to lighter shades that slipped the floor

Then turning to his eyes, the questions low homogenize
As purple made amends to pink, and pillows fluffed a yellow wink

The light lay gently on his chest, made mention of her answer

Yes
