The sky is grey
Filled with regret
How often I wonder
What lies within

Words come and go
Empty thoughts rape my soul

Hollow shattered passion
No longer there
We walk our truth
Truth is the only despair

Time will judge us in that final hour
A lifetime spent
Hopeful retreat
Regrets run deep
Grey sky is coming

Here for a moment
A blink of the eye

Once we were young
Full of desire

Your grey sky is coming
We all will fear
My sky is here
I resent the fear

Some day we will regret
Our souls will find comfort
An empty soul
A shattered dream
Passing cold on our face
A whisper never meant to be

An empty shadow
This empty trail
Forever marching
Grey sky is watching

Thank you.  I find comfort writing these days, it helps to occupy the mind.
