These lines I draw
have been drawn before.
They run together
in my mind and my heart.

These roads I bleed upon
have been bled upon before.
A little of mine,
a little of theirs.

“Some things just aren’t what they appeared to be”
(Whisper the voice in my head)

I tread softer now,
keeping to the shadows
of my thoughts
and ruined desires.

I speak slower now,
least I confuse myself.
Forgetting lessons,
wanting more.

I reach blindly now,
for my sight has perished.
I no longer know where I roam
or what to call a home.

"cast me gently into the morning, for the night has been unkind"

All of these things you do Susan, I have done or also am doing now...I feel your words deeply.  I am glad that you are a part of this family and Ron's gracious home....

The greatest beauty on earth, is
found in the hearts of those
who love....

Susan, your mind reaches out to my heart and lets me know that those bad choices are ok....keeping me on the right path...

Whenever you feel lost you know you can always come in here...it's like a second home..
actually....some days my first home...LOL.
Love this one Susan.
Hugs~

Now while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again..and again.

((hugs))

this is well done ma'am... and we all understand the how it is at times.. diminishing returns....

even when we think the returns are smaller than the cost... we find we either wrongly estimated the costs or underestimated the returns...

how's the weather? warm enough still to walk the beach?

might be good therapy for you...

Susan, I too have known such feelings yet you have managed to put them into the words that I could not...

I do sense a quiet dignity in your sadness.

I feel like wrapping you in a warm blanket of love.

have been bled upon before.
A little of mine,
a little of theirs.

The bleeding will eventually stop, I hope to write like you someday.
