You want to go and see her under dark lights

used smoke and sweat
twisting up
along her hips
thirsty lust
under all those soles
that stamp over heartbeats
billowing
in jealous clouds
choking my corner

where,

I am always waiting for you.

Scenery
am I
to this oppressive stage
when it is not my own

but hers

~and I cannot even bare to watch~

(but
you need me there
so you say)

a familiar face.

So my love
you need not know how
familiar smiles would fall
were they not plastic
fixed with gloss
and shine
to acts

Scenes beyond scenes
Liars in their own spotlight.

I don’t want to stand in the darker shades of grey
watching you
want someone
in the pounding beats
that toll
self-destruction
after midnight

when it's too late
to change my mind
and go home
to electric strip light
cold
that shows every imperfection

as i undress

you from me.

Great write Gemma, deeply emotional.

While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?

Profound writing lady jane
very much enjoyed, although heart wrenching
sort of like watching the movie Beyond Boarders with Angelina Jolee (spelling?)
But really tugs at the heart strings.

Perfectly said Gemma, I agree with CPat, one of your best.

Into my library you go

into this night i wonder, it's morning that i dread, another day of knowing of, the path i fear to tread.
