Piled high and deep they say that of years of education book traces, paper trails, layered beneath boat models book marks loyally in place as boxed notes eek meager contents accordion file stashes stretch for there is one sheet amiss that one sheet or single line to complete a thought loop conjure a final solution piled high and deep while the tea steam rises in the background and quest for an answer is still there ready to be found posted catalogued and then like all great thoughts it too will be relegated to another leather bound set on a dusty shelf piled high and deep to be rudely pulled periodically dissected in part or whole another faceless interpretation or character contestation piled high and deep to make one just weep for all those years of education to conjure a final treatise from a mass of notes paper trail of quotes stacked to the hilt... until a truth is spilt. |
