Now
my father,...
freed from age,...
hunts a woods
of oak and elm

where wild boar root among the leaves
to seek
what food
there is to find

The sun goes down:
on summer fields
where wheat still grows
as tall as men,

on slender girls
with secret smiles...

for one
who’s young...
and strong again

Now while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again..and again.
