At the End of Your Rope

Your cliffs are shards of bone protruding through salt grass sprigs,
where winter has tarnished your sands and stone.
Your abandoned shore and harbor now alone…

Cry-out to your gods in your dilution.
Calculate your electronic solution.
Sing your pixie songs of lore.
Here them echo: “No one is listening, anymore…”

The elect have gone home, not a mysterious parting.
Nevertheless, from this adventures very beginning, this story told to all,
and free for the willing.

Words drifting from storm to storm, dragged across neglected places
in desperation for agreeable faces...

Yet, none were there to join the golden graces.
Only whispering voices, and glimpses of soured deliberation.
No virtue of tried or prolific traces…

Yet, a salted tear will ferret you out, intense compassion in a shout.
In that one last hope.
At the end of your rope…

Now while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again..and again.

Ah yes, - in the end it is given away -

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.
