To Think or not to Think

I do not wish to make you think
Perhaps a chuckle or a wink
I write because it pleases me
It rouses and it teases me

I sail into horizons far
Yet know I cannot reach a star
But sail I must for time is short
And I have doubts the final port

I cannot tell you why I seek
Except to say it makes me weak
It seems a never ending road
A conundrum of overload

Perhaps there be a simple dun
All our numbers start with one
But one lifetime, goes far too fast
To even think about the last

I do not wish to make you think
Perhaps a chuckle or a wink

Hello my friend and good morning....Happy Monday

it is at times overwhelming, those things which we seek answers to, our our minds seem to run across a sky of this way and that....but then, those times cascade it all with nothingness....a harmony so to speak, which you have displayed this wonderful 1st Day of a new week

Thank you

~*~

Probably the best of any reason,
even if we think you're teasin'!

An uplifting poem to start the work week...
Now, write me a poetic excuse not to go to
work, just so I can stay and play with you!

Morning Sy!
Well, always your poetry makes me think..
But lots of times it makes me smile
and if I could see you I would surely wink!

~Morning hugs, Nancy~

Seymour~
Okay ... have it your way ...
but, if it's okay with you (or even if it isn't) ...

'But one lifetime, goes far too fast
To even think about the last'

... I'm gonna 'think' on this poignant thought~

Oh, dear! That's my problem! Too many of my past lives are impinging on this one and at times it can be quite disconcerting! ~ even overwhelming! Flirty 2

Good afternoon Sy .... It's a slow motion kind of day and I appreciate not having to think.

However, can always use a good chuckle.

A delight to read .... hugs, Marti

Me thinks you write to oil your mind,
Not realizing in it what we find.
The wisdom from those words within,
Just thinking of them ~
                         keeps me thin!

I wish!

Hugs and more hugs too even!
