Far from where I am going

a trio
of far off
church bells
shattered silence
of the early night
with three part
harmony

as the wind carried it
past my ears
i stood and took notice
a smile
was draped
across my face

everything was made alright
within tose few moments
and i welcomed the approaching night

I have felt this before, the peace that comes in the ringing of church bells.  Something old and sacred comforts us.
You did a wonderful job with this.
