Marching into darkness Try to light the way Candles of hope to no avail We simply fail Walk on a desperate path Alone we are the blame Hindered by deceit Lies line our breath Veils cover our shame Only she can see A dark night is forever Forever is she The path knows no pitty Burning empathy is our only comfort Burn here and now Forever will we be forgiven |
